BILLINGS In February, two Billings women were accused of abusing an 18-month-old boy over a period of several months, causing life-threatening injuries.
The Big Horn County coroner says 49-year-old Mary Rose Plainbull died Saturday in the parking lot of a clinic in Pryor. The coroner says Plainbull died of a heart attack.Plainbull and her daughter -- 22-year-old Stephanie Plainbull -- were charged with aggravated assault by accountability.Preston Littlemouth, the son of Mary Rose Plainbull's niece, was hospitalized in late February for a severe head injury. Doctors called police after finding the boy had also suffered numerous burns, bruises and broken bones.The boy remains in critical condition at a Denver hospital.Copyright 2006 Associated Press.
